3 圣诞节、新年、复活节和感恩节，指整个节日用at，指节日中的某一天用on，强调是在整个期间用during。

定冠词

如果writer和teacher共用了一个定冠词the ,说明这二者的身份指代的是同一个人. 如果writer和teacher共用了一个定冠词the,表明一个是作家,一个是老师.

修饰数量

修饰可数名词：a large number of,a great/good many,quite a few

修饰不可数名词：a great deal of,a large amount of,quite a little

既可修饰可数,又可修饰不可数名词：a lot of / lots of ,plenty of,a large quantity of e.g.The country has a great deal of oil,coal and natural g... a great quantity of (接可数或不可数)大量

1.effort 释义：n.努力 常见搭配有make an effort “做出努力”。

2.effect 释义：n.效应，影响，结果，(艺术家或作家所要创造的特定)外观，声响。

常见搭配有have an effect on sth/sb “对某事/某人有影响”。

3.affect 释义：vt.影响，侵袭，使感染，(感情上)深深打动。

advise doing sth (建议做某事)或advise sb to do sth (建议某人做某事)。类似情况的还有allow(允许),permit(允许),forbid(禁止)等动词. 表示数量“大量”短语
